One year ago today, I woke up in the parking lot of a best western to an employee watering the few and far between grasses at sunrise as had been the way of things at the time. Still physicaly burnt from the pacific beaches and mentaly burnt from an insomniac vegas adventure capped with breaking down in the desert, we squirreled down some breakfast
