So today was my day off from work and oddly enough I got a nice call saying that I didn't need to come in tomorrow. And with it being slow not to come in Friday. Oh and not come in next week either. So yesterday was my last day at the Hilton

That's good advice to take into everyday living too. Always be true and don't bs people. They lose trust when they find out you're not who you claim to be. Only make promises you can keep. Otherwise people wait and wait around for you only for you let them down. Respect people enough to be honest even if you have something difficult you have to tell them. Then they won't resent you when things come out into the light.
