I think my favorite line is "Bet you could fit a whole lot of Pomeranians in that there elk carcass!" The image is priceless.

Now, why she thought they would get bored and come out on their own is beyond me. Carcass weight / dogs' weight > 1 sounds like a dog's vision of heaven.
