Several Quiet Days

Feb 23, 2004 19:20

have actually gone by since my last LJ post. So quiet in fact that there just really wasn't anything to talk about. But over the weekend I did something that I used to do on a regular basis and haven't been able to do because of other commitments in well over a year ( Read more... )

Welcome to the world of NT and waiting patiently for updates... ^_~

And you're reading Rosenhell... I can't wait to see what you think. ^_^ Sounds like a lovely way to spend a weekend.

LOL God I remember waiting for CNR and haunting E-sama's ff page every day to see if he had updated! LOL

I've added about 20 more reviews to the ones at ff for you. I don't know if I can call them reviews though because I'm mostly talking at the characters. But that just shows how deep you've pulled me into that world. I actually started back over a couple of the chapters I had already read. From when you first started putting them out. I was amazed how much I remembered. I am going to have to cut and paste the chapters to word so that I can save it and print it out when I have a new cartridge. That way I can read it over again later.

And it was a wonderful way to spend a quiet weekend. Actually it is making for some wonderful down time right now to just step back from stress and RL. So far I am absolutely loving every chapter but I knew I would! ^___^

Yup. There ain't too much more fun than having the time to read up on your favorite authors. I spent a very enjoyable weekend several months back reading "Cold November Rain" while trying to decide on a piano. That story strangely ended up being a life-saver since I needed a distraction for a while. Cool stuff. "Rosenkreuz, sweet Rosenkreuz" is also one of my favorites, gads does she write well! You're lucky, she just finished it ... you don't have to wait for updates.::grin::

Now this weekend, I'm hoping to set some time aside for your story! I read the first few chapters and can tell; I need some time to enjoy it properly.

Happy Birthday a bit early, by the by! ^__^

Absolutely. I knew I missed it I just didn't realize how much until I sat down and started reading and suddenly I couldnt' stop. I couldn't even stop long enough to make little notes for my reviews. CNR was soooooo good! I think that NT is going to be just like it. Absolutely wonderful.

I actually started reading Rosenkreuz when Yanagi put out the first chapter trying to see what kind of response she would get. It's has been excellent! I love a chance to get inside the heads of my favorite bad boys and Yanagi does a brilliant job of bring her idea of their past to life!

Oh gods which one are you reading? Fallen Angels? If so keep in mind it's Role play collaboration that honestly only started out to be Yohji out to have a little fun. Where it has gone from there has been a surprise. And though there are 50 chapters up we have enough stuff for another 50. Unfortunately there is also a ton of editing work which neither of us has time for right now. So read slow take your time... Okay? LOL

And thank you! ^_^

They are only the truth! Though I was telling Yanagi in one of the reviews for Rosenkreuz that I'm out of practice. I was less reviewing I think than talking at the characters. LOL But it just goes to show how deeply you can pull us into the worlds you create with your words ( ... )

When reviewers "talk" to the characters, it really makes me smile. It means I've brought the guys to life and the readers feel perfectly comfortable letting them know in no uncertain terms whether they agree with their actions or not. Plus, it gives my muses very direct feedback on which way to go when the plot can handle more than one direction, so please be assured I enjoy seeing comments like those ( ... )

That is one of the things that I love about both your writing and Yanagi's. The characters are well rounded and believable and the stories themselves are excellent you pull me in with the first chapter.

~nods in total agreement with da Llama on his thoughts about kids~

~blushes~ Your welcome! I'm glad my input helped!

Apologies for the belated well-wishing. Caught the note in the Llama's LJ and thought I'd say "Happy Birthday"! ::grins and offers hot cocoa with marshmallows::

Thank you! And that's okay, I'm doing it all the time because I'm horrible at remembering dates. ~accepts cocoa grinning broadly because like Omi cocoa and marshmallows is a favorite.~
