I am home from a delightful Thanksgiving weekend with my mom and Brent. We had our Thanksgiving on Friday because I had to work on Thursday morning and we didn't end up leaving Chicago until about 2pm. Korean Brussels sprouts? Are they different from "our" Brussels sprouts?
Anyway, I LOOOOVE cilantro, at Brussels sprouts with cilantro may be an interesting idea.... :)

Sorry for the graphic nature. I didn't think it was that graphic. :) I guess I am a bit desensitized to that sort of thing! And his finger is healing nicely, thanks for the besserung wishes! He doesn't even need a bandage on it any more.

Also, when I said "Korean brussels sprouts" I meant that she prepared them with Korean spices. The sprouts themselves were normal brussels sprouts-- sorry if that was confusing. But the recipe was sooo delicious, with chilis, garlic, cilantro, mint and other things. I actually found the recipe here if you would like to try it out. We didn't use the rice krispies, and it's tasty without them, but I can imagine the dish would be tasty with roasted nuts as well. Maybe almonds?
