Well not exactly.

After some lets say heated exchanges on my part the best I could get out of them was a bill for 297 + GST. I can see his point in why it looked like something I did and voids the warranty. I’m still not happy about the whole thing mind you. But what’s the alternative? Go to fair trading and lodge a complaint? That’s all fine and good but it’s not as if I’m a technician I only know how to use the things and if it goes against me I could end of forking out more then the original $650.

So best just cut my losses wear it. As you know I’m not in the best health at the moment so it’s also an issue that I can do without. Take the offer and only use the camera in a protective environment. Man was going to buy a flash/umbrella thing to. Looks like that is off now unless I go and get a credit card again.

Agh………..

Yeah.

I'm just annoyed. Apart from the 1000's I've spent on camping/fishing equipment for some reason I've always had bad luck on all of my other major purchases. My 2nd car was a lemon then by the time I fixed it all up and paid off the loan an idiot runs through a stop sign writing the car off, I got screwed when the Ps2 first came out, screwed over by work (not this job) and now the camera. It seems bad luck just seems to follow me.
