This makes me miss having the budgie in the house. I wish the cat wouldn't try to eat him.



Dreidel does this sort of thing, but only if his imaginary friend (his reflection in the mirror) is watching.

Maybe I'll bring him some organic grapes on Sunday and see if I can get him to "bowl" again.

Heavens, no! Budgies are native to Australia. I think it'd be a little tough for him out on the patio in the middle of a Canadian winter.

He's with my parents until we get a bigger place that'll serve as Kate's Office/Budgie Room. It's a pretty good place for him for now. He overlooks the backyard, which has eight (not an exaggeration) birdfeeders, so he's got plenty of friends to talk to when he gets bored of talking to himself in the mirror (which he never does, but it's nice to have options).
