Social Media at the Ceremony: Trendy or Just Plain Tacky?

I'm not against it, but I personally wouldn't want to do it. If you guys are both into it, then go for it!

But remember that if your kids ever watch your wedding video, they'll be all "Mom, what the hell was Facebook?"

I think this is a great way to incorporate something that's a big part of your life into your wedding. If you're not comfortable with doing it at the service (or the padre isn't), you could do it at the reception, before you get up to say your thanks you. Have your emcee say something like, "here's Kate and Rob...oh, hold on a sec, Rob's just updating his Facebook relationship status"

We were supposed to enter our reception to The Throne Room music from the end of Star Wars (or was it Empire)...but the DJ forgot... :(
