I have hit a fitness plateau at the gym and have been lacking in motivation to get up off my ass and work out. What do I do when this happens? I make new goals. My latest one is a doozy ( Read more... )

Are you using the couch to 5k program? I did that in the fall and I ran 5k at the end of nine weeks (though it did take longer than 30 minutes). I ran outside so I can't help with the treadmill issue. When the weather gets warmer in March I will have to start at the beginning again.

I am using it. It's been a good little app so far. I'm looking forward to running outside. The treadmill doesn't really give you a very good idea of what it's like to run on varied terrain.

Ugh, dude, that sounds painful, in more than one way! :( Stupid treadmills. I think it's amazing that you're setting goals for yourself though! I bet you'll succeed-- just be careful on those contraptions!! I'm actually on the way to my own gym to do the same..

And those super matchy-matchy ladies at the gym are annoying and clearly have too much time on their hands.
