adobe cs3 font question

i need to send a few fonts to my it director that came with illustrator cs3. i know older versions of illustrator you could just go into the fonts folder and pull it out and send it but cs3 - i can't even find the fonts folder! it doesn't look like its even in here! anybody have any help? it's not in the computer system folder, the fonts are ( Read more... )

Can't you just convert the fonts to outlines and send the file?

Why does your IT Director need the fonts? It's more and more difficult to send fonts because of licensing/ownership issues.

Oh. And if you DO convert to outlines, make sure you do a "Save As..." so you can always go back to edit text if needed.

thanks brian, i already did outline the fonts from the original graphic but they want to use a few of them for this slideshow theyre making in powerpoint, and they don thave cs3 there yet. plus, the fonts aren't on powerpoint, and i dont want to spend time making them jpgs of whatever words they want in whatever font.. :)

but do you know where to find the font files?!??
