Been doing the forty day discipline is your friend kundalini yoga challenge on youtube. Just completed day 39. Once I have done day forty I am going to start on day one and do it all over again, choosing my favorite exercises and trying them by myzelf at some point.

Awesome! I only tried real yoga (as opposed to the Wii version) recently, but I liked it. I need to start doing it with stephaniebcl when I get the chance. =)

Oh I dunno. It certainly feels real to me but it's not connected to a particularl style of yoga... I think one of the best parts is I have more time to do each move and the scale examines my weight shifts. I can also isolate a pose I am struggling with and get reminders of the fine points.

Oh... well, maybe I'll give Wii yoga another chance as well. Yoga definitely helped stretched my hamstrings in ways that I haven't been able to after a lifetime of trying (I have REALLY tight hamstrings).

The style you want for that is a slower style like svaroopa or hatha yoga. Careful about stretching too hard or too fast. Only do what you can do and be relaxed.... You definitely can overdo and hurt yourself.. Sadly svaroopa doesn't have videos or books. The founder of the style is gifted but greedily tries to force taking classes on you.
