my take on the fubared music situation & why downing grey sucks (other than coz of course!)

ok here's the skinny of what fueled my wondering about things. I was an unpaid vocal coach & an unpaid vocal backup singer

I doubt they pulled this shit because you're disabled. They apparently have something specifically against you, which is a whole mess of hurt feelings right there.

they gave me very mixed messages actually- they acted as if they liked me very much, told me I was good, hugged me, thanked me for my thoughts & ideas, dseemedto respect me. They were always friendly & seemed to care about me.. confided in me in private conversations. I think the only big mistake I made was daring to write about my personal angst on facebook. I guess they felt stressed out over my angst & they felt that coz would leave if they hurt me.

thankfully I'm way over this situation- chorus & small groups are mnore satisgyintthan this band which ha only two ggs (unpaid & then they had to psay to be in a gig the second time).. their market is 50 plus year olds... & the gig they paid for had 4 adultsthat were watching & the bartender got bored at one point & turned on the jukebox because the guitar player took 15 minutes to tune his guitar! *lol*.
My relationship with coz has for outlastedthe band.. which lost it's bass player & has begun to do original songs as circuline- stil a pretty good band but no really good lead singer to speak of ;). they couldn't even hsandle pink flloyd harmonies whic really isn't that difficult. My problem was inexperience using a mic & not sticking up for myself as i was intimidated by the microphone. thankfully life moves & I'm doing improv singing with an awesome woman in ithaca & we're doing an open mic asap.
