He's going to Metro... it's part of the Auraria campus downtown. I think he may also take some classes at CU-Denver. He starts college in a few weeks =)
NEVER believe the brochures. They can make any school look good, as they are merely a collection of wonderful phrases and happy pictures. Point at hand: When I went to CCSU, the whole place was dug up, all four years - and it still is. The school is undergoing a major facelift, which will take ten years to complete. The whole middle of the campus is completely inaccessible, several buildings are closed off, etc etc. This is not something they tell you - you have to either go see for yourself, or talk to someone. Same thing for everything else. But you're a smart girl, I know you know that.

Thanks for the tip, but I already knew that =) That's why I almost always throw these brochures out... but over spring break, Dad and I went driving all over Southern California and Scripps was one of the schools that we toured. It's in Claremont, California (about one hour east of Los Angeles) and it's part of the Claremont colleges (you've probably heard of Pomona...). I also know some people currently going there and friends of my parents that went there, and they love it.
I'm planning on touring all of the schools I get accepted in before I make a final decision.
My friend Michele (michelanious on lj) goes to Pomona, and her sister Jessie (instantzen, but she never updates) goes to Scripps. Feel free to leave them a message, and they will happily tell you all about it.
