Do you think your gender determines how well you drive?

I'm interested in seeing all sides of this issue... and accurate studies/statstics would be greatly appreciated in supporting your arugment.

i don't mean to be rude or a bitch here but i'm entitled to speak out my opinions.
i'm glad ryan made his entry 'friends only' because it's his journal and i don't think he needs anymore drama going on and you linking it in your journal to make more drama happen (which will and is happening now).
and ryan was mature enough to realize that this needs to be ended, and he chose to end it in his own journal, and your boyfriend didn't respect that. and i think you all should respect that.
anyone who replies to me about my comment is going to be ingored because i do not want to go further.

I know you said you're just going to ignore any and all comments made, but when you said that your boyfriend was mature enough to end it, I think to when he said, and I quote, "shut the fuck up, ho" after I posted my opinion, and the fact that he tried to insult me by calling me names. Mature? I think not.

This is not meant to start an arguement, but when I am called down on something and another person is defended who, in my eyes, is more in the wrong then I am, I get irritated

Funny, he makes the post private when he starts getting proven wrong... And not only that, but when he is proven wrong, all he can say back is "shut the fuck up, ho"

original, isn't it?

I don't really think that your gender has anything to do with the way you drive, because I know some really bad women drivers, and some equally, if not worse male drivers, and on the other end of the spectrum, I know some really good drives that are guys and some really good drivers that are female.
And on another note, why, if women are such terrible drivers, is the price of insurance for guys so much higher than it is for girls?
That's just my 2 cents.

I'm guessing it's because back in the 50s and 60s, women didn't drive as much, and when they drove, they were more careful and "lady-like". And/or maybe it's because it used to be that 16 and 17 year old guys had more accidents than girls of that age because they show off? *shrugs*

I don't think your gender does. People just pick up different driving habits as they go. I know 25 year old guys who drive like granny's and I know old ladies (my grandma, heheh) who have lead feet. It just depends on what you know and how you do it.

THis is just a generalization. This does NOT fit all mena nd women, BUT in general, men drive more aggressvily and women drive more cautiously. When someone skips me or does somethign completely stupid or assholish, I usually think its a guy whos 16-25. When someone is driving too slow or tenatively, I usually think its a lady whos 40 or older...

By the way, I'm changing my LJ s/n to gauche1028. Please add that one to your friends list. Thank you
