MAN I FUCKIN HATE LJ! It just sucked my post into a black hole and now I have to type it up again. Dammit. --;

Anyway. yeah. Counseling is fun babe. You'd be good at that.

But yeah also. Dont do social work, health care, nursing, etc. Like Rachel said, you'll be working with people all day who are generally hopeless, lost causes that you cant actually, in the end, do anything for at all. Not for lack of trying on your part, or maybe even their part... but it just is. You'll get worn down, stressed out, and burned out. Stay away from that shit unless you take pleasure in seeing other people's pain/ignorance, and we all know your not like that.

Anyway. Yeah. I cant talk cuz I dont post very often either... but it would be nice to hear more from you.

Thanks for e-mailing me! I'll respond in full soon. For now, I just want to say that I'm sorry you're going through this "dark time" *overly dramatic phrase*, but I think your uncertainties maybe just speak to the fact that you're not lost at all. To me, they just reaffirm the certainty that it's your destiny to help others. Anyone of true conviction has to question the path, and I personally don't doubt that you'll find one.
