It certainly looks to be a big year for both the MDRF and the Pirates Band Royal (with or without cheese).

I don't notice the traditional Danish cheese weekend, with its special bleu cheesy ditties (that's with a "D"). Has this weekend been merged with the Dutch/Belgian (read .../Phleghmish) weekend?

No, this replaces the Danish weekend. Turns out that it wasn't as popular as the staff thought it would be.
And as a personal opinion, I think the Danish eating contest was kinda gross.
Hamlet And Eggs was a pretty good group, though. I bought both of their albums.
