But seriously, the assignment was strictly to describe a place or event, so that makes sense.

I hate writing prose. Poetry has always flowed better for me, maybe because the lyricism possible in verse sounds fucking retarded in prose (unless you're a far better writer than I am) and that's actually closer to how my thoughts run.
