Stupidly long, why its been a bad week :(

We survived the trip to Bath for my assessments with the pain management units, they said there was no pressing medical reason for me to not go on one of their courses but that we would not know if the cost would be funded by my Primary Care Trust until we applied for a place, and that most of the services they could offer me would be intensive ( Read more... )

You are brilliant.

Your illness is not fair, but you didn't ask for it and you deserve the care to manage it as best as possible. In an ideal living situation, you would not have to worry so much about your physical health and would then be able to focus on doing what you can. You should not have to fight for basic things, as it seems you do there. You do, indeed, need to get out of that house and into a living situation where your needs are seen to by those have no emotional involvement.

If it gets much worse, I'd suggest going to hospital (calling for rescue squad if necessary and going in through A&E) and saying your home environment is not safe. Let them medically stabilize you and then send you somewhere else temporarily.

You deserve to be happy and not to feel scared -- don't let anyone take that away.
