Mary Zimmerman's Pericles is f'ing amazing... she takes a less-than-loved Shakespeare odyssey and makes it poetic, magical, image-orgasmic, and really compelling. The beginning is rather slow, but once the action picks up, it doesn't relent. I LOVED IT.

P.S. You and I need to chat. I think we're overdue for a dinner thing. Maybe I can find a free show to do too. I'll call you soon. Maybe today?
