I like myself like I like Edward Gorey: covered in cats!

I have been absent a lot. Partly this is due to overwhelming life stuff, and partly it's due to what I think is RSI. My hands have been hurting too much to type save when necessary. I've been doing a lot of sound editing, and that's been really hard on them, too (it involves a lot of clicking and scrolling). I love writing, and I love doing audio ( Read more... )

I sense a trip to Cape Cod to the Gorey house coming. I love his subtle yet greatly weird drawings.

The Gashlycrumb Tinies were delightful--must have been such fun to pose! Even (maybe especially) with a cat interrupting you.

Las Passementeries were amusing--tassels do look frightening when you take a good look at them.

I hope your hands and wrists get better!

It was really fun to plan and pose those pictures. I was excited that everyone else got into it as much as I did. I heartily recommend a visit to the Gorey house if you are in the area. Thanks for the well-wishes. I should probably stop typing now...

I was not imagining things, good to know! Omble does indeed have paw-fingers, just like a Gorey Cat drawing. He is an endearing monument of cat. Thanks for taking all these great pictures of our excursion.

Thanks for planning such a fantastic excursion! And yes, Omble does look very much the Gorey cat, doesn't he?

You are so seriously amazing. I wish I lived by you so we could have weird photo parties together. Cooney and I have them sometimes, but you totally stepped it up.

Well, you are always welcome to visit! And we might have to plan some sort of photo silliness for one of the cons next year. I think it could be epic.
