* Jersey Shore Shark Attack - surprisingly watchable. I truly enjoyed seeing Joey Fatone eaten by a shark, even though I love him ( Read more... )

The first two episodes were actually REALLY AMAZING (barring like, MTV's requisite fifteen minutes of Scott and Allison making out)!!!! It was like watching a different but awesome show. I've officially been Scottholmed, too. Craziness! Congrats on having both the world's most handsome baby and an apple :).

omg, I watched the first three and they are so much more awesome than last season! I still have to watch this last ep, but I've got high hopes.

I read the fic first, so I'm spoiled for everything, and now I'm furiously catching up on season 1. And watching the new eps.

Complain to me!

I managed to hold out with the spoiling until I watched the first three eps, but then I haven't watched the 4th one and I've been reading fic anyway :/

But I totally spoiled the entire first season with fic until I watched it, I think that's maybe better, since the first season is so very very bad.

I wasn't actively looking for stuff until literally last week, so it's been easy for me to avoid spoilers.

It is so bad and Scott is so dumb. It pains me still.

Season two of Teen Wolf has actually been kind of awesome so far. I mean, it josses so many fics set after s1, but the plot development has been the appropriate amount of interesting and mysterious, and they've managed to even get me to like Scott this season. So I am cautiously impressed!

As for One Direction... I am still slightly ashamed to admit that I'm in that fandom, although that shame lessons as time goes by. They are the most adorable, though. And I do get a very strong reminder of Panic and bandom.

Because I am an evil enabler, would you like me post a couple of photos with some "easy ways to decode who is who" instructions?

I've finally watched everything but the latest and you are so right, it's so much better! And I was liking Scott, too!

Why yes, that would be awesome!

Okay, I promise to be as brief as possible. (Note - it might be all that possible. These boys get under your skin.)

One Direction is comprised of five guys who all tried out for the 2010 X Factor competition in Britain - separately. They made it through to bootcamp, but were all kicked out after that. But Simon Cowell thought hang on, there's a money making opportunity here! So he picked five guys that almost made it through and put them in band for the rest of the competition. They were hugely popular and ended up coming third, although their success outside of X Factor is probably slightly more impressive.

I'll start with a group shot that best portrays their stylist's amazing work.

Louis Tomlinson (pronounced Lou-ee), turns 21 in December, loud, outgoing, loves annoying his bandmates, is probably the one most I'm the most attracted to.

I rewound Joey several times. A++ being eaten by the shark, Mr Fatone. Would watch again.

Teen Wolf is like the silliest tv addiction ever. I still can't stop watching. Mostly because I want to pet Stiles and cuddle him. Also somehow they've managed to make Jackson interesting even though he's supposed to be the jock.

...I still can't believe I'm watching.

What's with Jackson this season, oh man - it's like he's on a total downward spiral while still being douchey and privileged - I'm not sure if I like him better this way or not.

I find him endlessly entertaining personally. I mean I did like him more last season when we saw vulnerability but I have a feeling that will come back later in the season when we find out what exactly is up with Lydia or when whatever is happening with his powers/lack thereof develops. Right now we're stuck with douche Jackson like the start of the last season.
