Prepping for Seder

Today is Good Friday. I've never understood why it is termed "Good" Friday when today is the day we celebrate Christ's sacrifice on the cross. I realize that it is good that He did that and all, but it seems like this would be Dark Friday or something and Sunday, the resurrection celebration, would be Good Sunday. Well, dictionary.com says "Good Friday illustrates good in the sense of "holy; observed as a holy day" and may be the oldest Christian celebration, its name possibly a corruption of "God's Friday."" so that puts a different perspective on it. So you could also say "Holy Friday". HOLY FRIDAY! Sounds like Batman...as if we don't hear Batspeak enough anyway.

If you don't watch The Passion for a long time, will it renew the next time you see it?

I don't know. I hope so. Maybe heart callouses are like other callouses. If you quit subjecting the area to the painful activity, it will become soft and pliable again? I guess time will tell.
