Interesting email. If I knew the meaning of any of those big words that "Anonymous Woman" (if that's her REAL name......I doubt it.) used I would probably totally understand what you were getting at.

I have a problem calling Thanksgiving Turkey Day. While we all associate it with a great meal, the truth is that we kill the turkey. So it's really like Turkey dying Day, or Killing Turkey Day.
I don't want to be blasphemous, but what if we called Christmas, 'Jesus Day?' You see where I'm going with this.
Oh, and as for the big words...I have been accused of opening my dictionary to a random page and using the most difficult words I can find on it to sound smart.
Now I don't intend to be Brythonic or anything, I mean, its not as if I feel I am an Indo-European language scholar, but I do feel a rich brunizen style of writing shouldn't be seen as brusquerie. If it has caused you any form of bruxism, I am sorry.
Let's stop this brucellas talk before we both get a browridge.
