From a female point of view.. Could it be that her parent's found out that maybe you were a little too old for their daughter.. Or that you had in fact already been sneaking around behind their backs and not doing the so called *right thing* .. Or maybe they saw your motor bike and thought no way. Or you constantly bombarded her with txt's and emails??? Sound familiar ( ... )

I'd find it amusing to know who you are Miss (Assuming from your 'From a female point of view ...' intro). To this end anon postings will be no more in my LJ, if you aren't brave enough to put your name to your comments, I'll not wasting my time defending myself to someone who so obviously doesnt know the facts ( ... )

I havent met them, so i dont know what they are like, but she seems to think that they wont like the idea of her meeting someone off the net.

Fingers crossed we'll meet up saturday, but its just frustrating when you plan something and it all falls apart.

you could try meeting her parents first. i remember when i first met someone off the net, it was 2 guys who were mates online and we were all chat mates together... they met me at my place.. parents didnt seem to mind... how old is she?

I've offered to meet her parents, but she knows her situation better than me so i figure i'll just leave it upto her. If we meet up saturday it'll be good cause it'll be in syd so she'll feel more at ease. She's 18, so yes i'm a lil bit older than her, but I dont think i'm TOO much older than her cause my last gf was 5yrs younger than me and that worked great!
