That is exactly the way I've felt for over a week now. I feel like when I'm lonely it should send a Bat-symbol-esque beam of light into the sky, causing great forces to assemble like the Planeteers or Meatwad, Frylock and Shake. Instead I keep boring people, and getting ignored.

I need much more tending than say, a cactus, or plastic ficus.

i know it's annoying to copy and paste 1/3 of your entry back to you, but i wanted you to know i feel exactly the same way lately. you just expressed it much more eloquently than i ever could.

I read the New Yorker. Then I say what they say, when I remember it. When I am able to recall it, people find me interesting and pleasent to be around, I think. They may also consider me a know-it-all who butts in with junk completely off topic. I'm not sure, but they smile. As long as they are smiling, it is ok. If I can't remember anything, I tell a story about me that loosely relates with what everyone else is talking about. The silence that ensues was discomforting at first, but I've adjusted. Eventually, people begin avoiding me, which really is for the best all around.
