1. Strangers with Candy
Good call, Sam! Most people know that I absolutely adore Amy Sedaris and her hideous alter-ego:
But I think Mr. Chuck Noblet delivers the most pithy lines on that show. I could cite a million cases of this, but I think my favorite is this gem: "Sorry won't make this golden brown Jerri. You can't unfry things. You can't be something you're not...now step away from the Fry-Poppa."
2. Freaks and Geeks
Totally. And isn't Martin Starr kinda handsome in Real Life? I heard he was drunk all the time on the set, which really explains why he was such a great dancer. Sam breaks my heart as well though, just saying.
3. Sex and the City
Bonnie knows that even though I'm flaky like Carrie, prudish like Charlotte and FABULOUS like Samantha, I identify most with Miranda. The way she hates all children but her own, the way she overeats, the way she almost has more contempt than affection for her boyfriend, the way she proposed to him...no one on the telly cracks me up or makes me cry like Miranda.
4. The O.C.
I guess a couple technically isn't 'a' character...but Dating in Real Life is so old school and lends authenticity to what would otherwise be cheesy dreck.
5. Aqua Teen Hunger Force
I am so glad you got to this one before Eric, who is really sick of hearing me perfect my Meatwad impression. Meatwad ranks high on my list of cute things, almost above squirrels and chimps, he only gets points off because he is a cartoon and I'll never be able to hold him. I can't stand how cute that one tooth is. Would it be inhumane to 'forget' to teach my children the importance of brushing so that they'll only have one tooth? Forever?

SUPER GROVER! I do love Grover, mostly because my mom did a mean Grover impression. I also love these guys:
And also him, because he looks just like my brother, AH AH AH!
10. Jeopardy (I guess you could guess my favorite contestant...but this is kind of a trick question.
This is one of my best professors, and still a close friend. His name is Peyton Paxson, he has four degrees! He opened my eyes to the world of culture studies and was also on Jeopardy, and is therefore My Hero. He also quoted me in one of his textbooks, no joke, I can show you. Actually, yeah, I'll scan it and post it here.
