p.s. 'fraid the alien-nation went in this direction. The boy was bad mouthing me to my MOTHER-IN-LAW!! As you know, traditionally, the MIL/DIL relationship is always tricky enough without sabotage!!
Keith decided to take my side b/c of course our loyalties to each other have to come first. I tried to just avoid Chris altogether, so he and Keith could still be buddies, but I couldn't get past how poorly Chris treated me, and I felt really betrayed and disrespected.
You know, "A woman scorned..."
...but puppies are good, and I am sure he'll be an excellent "dog dad."
