Poor YA readers get no respect.

I like your solution to the problem, by the way. They can reclassify the books if they want to, but they can't actually make you move them.

I wouldn't read a YA book without it being specifically recommended to me. My reasoning being that most YA books would read like adult books but dumbed down some. So if I saw a book as YA lit I would pass on it for a similar book in adult lit even if the YA one is better. It makes sense for a publishing company to want to move the books for more sales even if it is a dumb reason.

Haha, look at me, I take the man's side in this. I should be ashamed.
