So I just got back from the gas station where I locked my keys in the car. First time.

Luckily I left my sun roof open. This meant, however, that I had to climb on top of my car and in through the sun roof in front of a bunch of laughing strangers.

Yeah, no kidding. That I was grateful for, especially because my phone wasn't on me...XD That could have been VERY bad.

You know that's exactly what my mother said! Er, which is why I must shamefully tell you the same thing I told her. My spare key was in my purse, which was in the car. XD

I shouldn't laugh, I locked my keys in the car once while the dog was in there. I was trying to get him to step on the 'unlock' button, it was awful.

This is what magnetic hide-a-keys are for.

Hahahaha. Oh man, the visual with that one! That's one trick no one would have the foresight to teach their dog, but it would come in handy.

I'm just glad your sunroof was open. Locking the keys in the car is something that happens to everyone eventually (or almost everyone) but most of us spend hours with a coat hanger or have to call in a professional. At least from what I have seen in my own experience. I happen to remember spending a couple of hours with a long piece of wire, feeding it through the cracked window of my dad's car and trying to catch the lock with it. MAN was that hard.
