Oh no, poor Fitzwilliam! I hope he's okay.

Kids get hurt all the time, though, so once you've got them you'll get used to it pretty quickly. Also, you can tell kids to hold still because they're making it worse, and sometimes they listen. And kids don't have claws.

Yes to all three of those points. Yeah, not being able to explain to him that I was trying to help and that his thrashing was actually causing him harm? Very upsetting ( ... )

No you never told me about this! Was he ok?? I'm assuming he was because otherwise you would be bawling, right? God, that would have upset me. Poor kitten...

Oh no! I'm so sorry this happened to you, wounded kittens can be very, very scary. And they do seem to get themselves into awful scrapes sometimes.... I trust you've kitten-proofed your bed now? You'd think that pain would be enough of a deterrent, but sometimes it isn't. I hope you remembered, in your concern for your new baby, to clean up your arm. That must have been some little fuzz-ball of panic to mark you up badly enough to cover everything in blood ( ... )

wow. I've never had a reason to make my journal private, but you just created one. Thank you. Now get off my journal.

I have absolutely no idea what I said to make you angry, but I'm very, very, VERY sorry. I did not intend to be anything other than supportive and helpful, but I have recently learned that I can come across sometimes as patronizing or arrogant when I don't mean to be. If that is it, I'm really, really sorry. If it's something else, please quote to me what it was I said that was so terrible so that I never make the mistake again. The last thing I ever wanted to do was offend or upset you in any way.

Again, I am terribly sorry for whatever I said. Please correct me at least if you can't forgive me. I won't post here again unless you say that it is alright.

Sammy

No no no, Sammy. There was a deleted comment under yours. I'm so sorry!! That wasn't meant for you.

My journal got spammed by some idiot. I left that comment, and then an hour later, I deleted their comment.

It wasn't you. You're a sweetheart! <3
