Every Day, The Same Damn Salad

For the past year or so, I have ordered the same salad (with slight variations) from Café Metro every lunch I can. On a good day, I take the go-up-box down, cross 42nd St., have my salad made to order, pay Karen (my favorite CM cashier) for it (credit card in this instance is faster than cash), cross 42nd again, elevate back up to the sixth floor,

Yeah, well... I could either get those instead of the tofu or pay more to have both. I just decided to go with the healthier option.

Plus, as with all meats but especially babies, I worry about the slaughtering conditions. Are they hygenic? Are they human(e)?

I remember the lunch jaunt we took that one time to Cafe Metro. I think I got a panini sandwich, which seems completely lame after reading this entry.

BTW, I looooove your boring-ass entries about eating salad and picking your ass, etc.

everyday at this little asian store in herald square i have a large salad.

withhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
cucumbers
chicken
kidney beans or chickpeas
cucumber
shreaded carrots
black olives
mushrooms
and it i feel like it i *might* have a crouton

olive oil and balsamic
it has to be seperate.
