RMX around the Web

I’m not the only one who just started ComaMi recently! Kawashima Rumi's blog now includes a gameplay diary. She remarks how cute it is for Zero to keep checking up on X every step of the way while they’re separated in the opening chapter. Looks like X isn’t the only one built to worry! (Or did those two switch personalities for ComaMi?! Rumi-san ( Read more... )

As if to confirm the observation about violence, there’s the story in which X and Spider take turns holding Zero down for the other to violate. Axl is there watching, and X is teaching him how to do it. If I had kept reading, he probably would have gone next. I’ve seen Spider/Zero non-con before. I’ve even seen X showing Axl how to have sex with Zero before. But putting it all together was just too much. (Mostly because of Spider, I think; I don’t mind the triple heroes going at it.) Somehow I neglected to bookmark where these came from, I wonder why.

This sounds... disturbing, yes. Not least of which because.. uhm, X as abuser? Angst-free is one thing. CONSCIENCE-free is a totally DIFFERENT thing. -.- Please tell me this isn't in English so I won't stuble across it while I'm searching for good old three-way A/Z/X smut. ;___;

Suono Risuke of UZmusi is also surfing other people’s sites, and observes the ZeroX crowd tends to go for the sweet and romantic, whereas XZero fans go for violence. I COMPLETELY disagree with this. It may be ( ... )

It’s in Japanese, you’re not likely to run across it by accident. How likely is it to run across trio smut at all? I see hardly any, except for what you write. I’m looking for it, too, which is what led me to the stories I was talking about above!

I haven’t even seen enough XZero fic in English to tell if there’s a trend it takes. To me it looks like most of the English-language fans are more bound by the “height rule” than the Japanese fans are. I think it’s a shame, because I’m coming from Yuugiou’s OuJou fandom, where the seme is almost 10" shorter than the uke or most of the other characters.

To get my XZero fix, I almost have to go to Japanese sites. X just seems more emotionally sophisticated to me, I think he would usually take the lead in their relationship. With varying degrees of forcefulness, because I think Zero barely recognizes someone putting moves on when he sees them. So, to me it’s hard to picture Zero putting the moves on anyone much. (He could learn, though ( ... )

(Sorry to say, but it's the truth). There hasn't been any new movement since Command Mission- most of the original games are only available now on emulation or by seeking out, deliberately, the obscure and now out of print Gamecube collections. This is more effort and emulation requires more technical skill than your average 15-16 year old slash fangirl wants to put in, especially when they've got the latest FMV-tripe from Squeenix to drool over on the PS3 ( ... )

If not for the player needing exposition, X’s question about why Repliroids go Maverick would have seemed very strange to me. I can’t believe X would be naïve. Not only is he the oldest Repliroid there is, Dr. Light built him looking forward to humans and Repliroids living together. I think X would come out of the box with as many social skills as Light could give him. (I also think he would have thought long and hard about the Maverick problem before deciding to join the Hunters. Maybe he’s just testing Zero’s thinking on the subject?)

So in the social department, I think X has an insurmountable lead over Zero. Dr. Wily was not thinking about fitting into society; didn’t Stone Kong call Zero the purest war machine he’d ever seen? Sure, Zero can learn. (Side note: I was SO PLEASED when I first saw Zero’s upgrade system in X4 was called LEARNING, instead of taking weapon chips! X’s limitless potential is the basic theme of the series, but I’d hate to see him outgrow his friend.) But at the same time, X is also learning even ( ... )
