The economics of motorcycle maintenance

Yesterday I gave my old bike for servicing. It was in such bad shape that for a while I was worried that the cost of servicing would be greater than the salvage value of the bike. I didnt think Challenger was better than Splendor or Victor in looks. The only problem i see with a Bullet is bangalore traffic.

yeah bullet may not be as manoueverable (screw hte spelling) as smaller bikes. but still it's infinitely better than car (in terms of flexibility)

and the decision on looks of various bikes was made by my parents. and i was in madras when this was bought. so for 9 out of 12 months of the year it would be my dad who was using it - so it was his decision
