fuck it

Over the past ten or eleven years, I have watched this city take apart everything it possibly could, piece by piece, that would keep younger folk from leaving. When I was younger, people would play music in Center St. Alley and Depot Park ( Read more... )

Cities freak me out. I'd end up going over the edge, tweaking, and killing all sorts of people then going to prison for life. Buttsex is bad.

It aint the locale thats bad, its the people "running" it. The police here are starting to get out of hand, as well.

Yea, like the locals from here are gonna hoof it all the way up there... I don't blame them... PitP is a Rutland thing. But I guess only a local would know something like that.... Nice try tho.... Anything for a B-town adventure.

Yeah. The whole point behind Punk in the Park is so the kids in Rutland, who hardly ever get decent shows, can enjoy a mix of punk and metal without paying some other places' higher-than-most-in-this-area-can-afford (my self not included, but there was a time) door/ticket costs for mediocre acts. Every year, the park fills with people having fun and rocking out. The city wants to take this away from them? Great. Fine. Now they can all just stay home, have nothing to do, and become junkies because this city turned its back on them and took away (not just in reference to PitP) almost everything they've ever found to occupy their hyper-active minds. Its obvious to me, with the inclusion of some other rcent municipal newsworthy events, that the officials of Rutland City have their minds not on the future of the citizens, but in their own pockets.
