Orkin' It for the Camera

Aaand back to Warhammer. Since I've been inundated with literally two requests to see the Nob bikers I put together, I went ahead and put 'em up on Picasa. There's only three of them thus far, but perhaps later on I'll make more. I'm leaning away from Nob bikers for the time being, though, because they can be pretty damn abusive. Anyway, here's the trio:

First up, the red-klaw Nob:

A nasty customer. He's also the only one of the three whose arm actually fit onto the handlebars (though you can't see it too well in that picture). With the others, I had to get creative. Enter the grey-klaw Nob, AKA Broken-Bar Bork.

From Orks

Oops! No brakes! Looks like he'll be charging in a little faster than expected, which is really a kind of bonus as far as Orks are concerned. And now we come to the Painboy:

I'll put up a few for him, since I actually spent time on him. For now, note the 'urty syringe (made from a stikkbomb, a scope, and the handle of an 'uge choppa), as well as the fancy red and blue lights on the front. He's even got a little assistant to help with... well, whatever unspeakable things they get up to. Next up, a side view to get a better look at that syringe:

The top canister contains some kind of vile fluid, you see, which makes its way down the tubing to mix with other potent chemicals in the handle. On the whole, not something you want to get stabbed with. This picture also shows one of the twin-linked dakkaguns that comes mounted on each bike. Next, a rear view:

There's the Painboy's set of Dok's Tools, which look suspiciously like munitions. Still, he's the Dok, so I'm sure he knows best. There's got to be all sorts of surgical applications for high explosives. Lastly, let's take a look at that pain-in-the-neck arm:

That arm doesn't actually attach to much of anything. As you can see, the gap is covered by an armored plate in front (with a nice Dok symbol on it), and some pouches of tools on the back. Overall, I think it works pretty well.

That's it for the Nob bikers (for now), but I may post more pictures if I think any of them look at all good. Maybe when the trukk is done, I'll unveil it here. And if you want to see the other pictures (some of which are blurry, due to a finicky macro setting), you can check them out here.
