I've been in a baking mood lately so for Halloween I made some snack foods for a party I went to and forgot I took some pictures.

I'm pretty pleased with the cupcakes although I messed up some of the faces of the ghosts and the eyes and mouth ran together.  Quite tasty though.

Those cupcakes are cute!! I thought they were cookies at first because of the shapes. The creampuffs remind me of the ghosts in Pacman.

I want to bake lots of cookies for Christmas too. I like to make the butter cookies for decorating. Last time I made them (first time by myself), Matt actually rolled out the dough and cut them all. I also like the almond cookies that you roll in a ball then roll into powdered sugar. I just have to figure out what would freeze well.

I love the butter cookies. I took Mom's recipe for those pistachio cookies too.

This year I want to make those three layer cookies with chocolate on top and maybe those sandwich cookies she used to make with round sprinkles in the dough and the pink and green frosting but I'll do red and green instead.
