i didn't encounter any trouble because of being an american. in fact, one bartender hooked me up with two jack and coke "specials" that were like 80% jack and 20% coke after i told him where i was from. but that french hotel manager was a bitch. it was nice to see randy poggio calling her a psycho bitch to her face and her not understanding a word of it.
