What's the earliest memory you can recall?  Often I get a sense of familiarity from scents or words as if i'm trying to conjure a memory long forgotten and no doubt meaningless.  I was the first child so my parents went over the top in taking photos and video taping me using a shabby beta max camera. And I was thinking about this recently.

earliest memories involve me, probably about 2 or 3 or 4 years old, telling my parents I had other parents "in the stars"

Now that I think of it, I remember being at the babysitter's prior to age 5 and putting a toy hammer in my pants trying to pretend to be a boy. I also remember peeing in my pants and then sliding down the slide in pre school. And also wondering why I couldn't fall asleep at nap time like everyone else could! I still can't sleep..
