Well, I haven't updated this thing for a while - so now seems as good a time as any.

This past few weeks have included many highs and lows, and thankfully it ended on quite a high.  At the end of last week a very close family friend was rushed to hospital, and it turned out she had a blood clot.  She is now on all sorts of medication and what not,
