This is my last day of work in the UK. I've got touristy stuff left to do, then I'm off for the next country I work in. And this is where you come in. I'm interested in hearing everybodies opinion, should I come home to australia, or galivant off to canada ( Read more... )

I would say Canada because I am going there to work at the begining of April!

You may have heard somewhere (i may have said something on the mords list) but I have accepted a permanent position in Ottawa, Ontario. My proposed start date is the 31st of March. I was looking for a new job because they were shutting down the newcastle R&D group and all the work was going to Canada. The new Canadian R&D manager came to Australia and I got to have a chat to him and a week or so later he offered me a position!

I'll give you the full story in an email or something if you like.

So anyway depending on which part of canada you go to you might have some company.

bah, Canada and Australia are both too small, I say go to Iraq, I'm sure there's not many IT people over there so you'll make a killing!!
