I feel like I'm constantly being watched. Someone recently posted on our message board on www.sfnrock.net that we take Christianity as a joke. I was sooooo furious. But what can i do? If i respond, I'm just stooping to that person's level. They say that they've seen us and stuff, they dont know anything!!!! How many times have i been on this LJ ( Read more... )

so i totally know how you are feeling. ever since i have decided to not drink and become a Christian again like i used to be, people keep on and on ragging me and such. it totally makes a person feel depressed and so i can honestly say i am sorry people are so shallow and closed minded. but i promise if you keep praying and thinking about the positive, it can only get better. people will realize that God is great and that without Him, you will get nowhere in the end. so dont worry about the negative, and what everyone is saying. i think it is God testing us, or allowing the devil to test us to prove to the devil that no matter what he does, God is only that much better and there is nothing he can do to change our minds ( ... )

Hey dude. I definitely know where you're coming from... and it's tough. My situation at school was a little bit different, but I had a Catholic roommate this year who thought I was going to hell because I didn't follow all the sacraments of the Church and because I didn't take her version of Christianity seriously. She told me straight up she thought I was going to hell. It was really frustrating. But one thing that really brought me back up was finding an incredible church here in Charlottesville. that has really enlivened my walk with Christ and made me so much more enthusiastic than I was first semester. Have you found a church there? It's such an important thing... one of the most integral parts of your walk with Christ is fellowship with other grounded Christians, so maybe you should make a point to work in that direction? I don't know, we haven't talked in a looong time so I don't know where you are with Christ. Just know that no matter where you are or what you're doing, the only thing that matters is whether or not ( ... )
