Pairing: KyuMin
Rating: PG-PG 13 (For swearing) [Ranges from fluff to angst and back again]
A/N: Just a bunch of drabbles from a challenge that I did.
1. Pick a character, pairing, or fandom you like.
2. Put iTunes or equivalent media player on random.
3. For each song that plays, write something related to the theme you picked inspired by the song. You have only the time frame of the song: no planning beforehand: you start when it starts, and no lingering afterward; once the song is over, you stop writing. (No fair skipping songs either; you have to take what comes by chance!)
4. Do 10 of these, then post.
Always on Time: Ashanti
Sungmin ran to his phone as soon as he heard the familiar ring tone. He grabbed his phone and opened it frantically.
"Hello? Hello?!?"
Crap. He had missed the call. He knew that it would do no good to call back because he never answered. He stuffed the phone into his pocket and quickly ran out of his apartment and out into the street, his feet creating a steady rhythm with his jogging. He skidded around a corner where he saw a familiar man in a suit waiting for him outside of the cafe. He ran until he was in front of him and stood in front of him. He was panting, his feet throbbing in protest of making them run in flat Converse.
"You're lucky you're here on time, now hurry up and order."
Sungmin couldn't believe him. This had been going on for months already and he was still a bastard about this. Sungmin wasn't his slave, and he sure as fuck wasn't going to be treated as such. He had gone to a good school and graduated with honors so he wasn't going to be treated like this no matter how many millions this guy had made. He straitened himself out to stare at the man whose eyes were always hidden behind designer sunglasses.
"No. Fuck you Kyuhyun. I quit."
Kyuhyun felt his

Senorita: Justin Timberlake
He had only gone to the ice cream store. His only goal was to go get a double scoop mint chocolate chip waffle cone, and that was all that had been on his mind. It wasn't fair that on his way there he ran into a crying person. Honestly, these things always seemed to happen, he has always been a jinx. But he did run into them (he couldn't honestly tell what gender they were).
Said person had shoulder length black hair, dangling earrings, bright and big brown eyes, and giant crocodile tears running down their cheeks. He had been walking rather briskly when he felt the small body run into him. He grunted slightly because of the impact and looked down to see the crying, um, person rubbing their eyes.
"S-sorry, I didn't see where I was going."
He was about to say that it was okay when they turned and walked away. He was continuing on his way when he suddenly heard a screech on the street to his left. He turned and looked in horror as the person that had just walked into him was staring into the headlights of an oncoming truck. He wanted to yell but his feet thought faster than his head and before he knew it he was already

Shawty get loose: Lil Mama
He could honestly say he never hated Yesung and Ryeowook more than he did right now. He watched from the bar as his friends danced on the dance floor. He snorted in his head as he took another sip of his drink, and they say that they don't like each other. Honestly, anyone with half a brain cell could tell those idiots had something. He downed the rest of the scotch and felt his face scrunch up as the liquid burned its way down his throat.
"You don't seem to be enjoying yourself."
Kyuhyun turned his attention to the man now sitting next to him at the bar. He scowled a little darker at the thought that this guy was actually trying to hit on him when he was in such a sour mood. This is exactly why he didn't go to clubs.
"Don't worry, I'm not trying to get in your pants or anything. Just trying to get sour people like you to loosen up. Come on."
Without waiting for a response, the smaller boy had already dragged the taller boy out to the dance floor. Kyuhyun tried to protest but was actually surprised when they small boy's grip didn't give. They were now in the middle of the dance floor when the older boy let go and started dancing. Kyuhyun just stood there looking uncomfortable until Sungmin decided to take matters into his own hands. His hands gripped Kyuhyun's hips and started moving them in rhythm to the music. Kyuhyun's eyes widened dramatically before he was pulled closer.
"Come on, stop being a wet blanket."
Kyuhyun shivered as he felt

I Dare You To Move: Switchfoot
He already knew the sexual preference of his best friend, he was sure everyone knew. He didn't think much about it, he respected Sungmin's choices no matter what. It was when he got a boyfriend that he felt himself feeling at odds with himself. He hadn't known why it bugged him so much that some other guy had Sungmin's attention, Sungmin's arms around their waist, Sungmin's kisses on his face. He figured it was that strange possessiveness that had blossomed from the fact that they had known each other since they were in diapers, that it was normal that all of Sungmin's attention was focused solely on him.
When that bastard broke Sungmin's heart he felt like breaking him in half. He had only restrained his rage when Sungmin had said it wasn't worth it and instead took his best friend out to get so drunk he wouldn't remember his name let alone heartbreak. He had blamed all the alcohol in his system for the fact that he had his friend pushed up against the wall of their flat.
Get a girlfriend, get married, have kids. This mantra had been shoved into his and his brother's head since they were old enough to speak. His brother had already accomplished all of the above, Kyuhyun not even getting to step one. But he knew that he couldn't leave that day behind. Not when every time he looked at Sungmin he would remember how his lips tasted like his cherry chapstick. But he didn't know if he could leave everything behind like that. Sungmin never talked about it but he knew that when his back was turned his friend would stare at him and

For You I Will (Confidence): Teddy Geiger
Kyuhyun was once again enthralled by the small man on stage playing the guitar. He stood in the kitchen of the restaurant with his eyes closed, feeling his heartstrings pull with every gentle strum of the guitar. He was happy to work as a waiter in this restaurant where the people treated you like crap, the tips were stupidly low, and there were no health benefits to speak of just so he could do this every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.
Then one night another waiter at the restaurant, Eunhyuk, happened to tell the manager that Kyuhyun could sing. Needless to say, Eunhyuk had been almost been punched in the face but Kyuhyun was then called into the manager's room where he was given the task of singing whenever Sungmin and Yesung were unavailable. He had sung in addition to his waiting tables for almost a month when he was called into the manager's room again. He entered and was shocked when he saw Sungmin already there, his guitar case resting at his feet. It was his turn to perform tonight, not Sungmins.
"Ah, there you are. Tonight Sungmin will be performing with you. We have some important clients coming and

Piece of Me: Britney Spears
Kyuhyun couldn't believe that his editors actually made him do this. He was there waiting for one of the biggest divas in the entertainment business just because he turned in one article late. He hated working for that joke of a magazine. Now he was sure that this damn celebrity would walk in here all haughty, more made up than a hooker, probably dressed like one too, with a damn frozen coffee in one hand, a cell phone in the other, and some sort of small dog in their possession. And no, he wasn't making this up; being a photographer for the majority of his life and career he had seen this before. Exactly why he hated all those fake things they called celebrity.
He heard the door open and turned to face the diva head on. He had seen him all over all the tabloids, over gossip TV, heard every rumor there was to it. Now he would see them live in living color. He actually felt his eyes widen slightly at what he saw.
Sungmin walked into the photo studio in sweat pants, torn black converse, and a beanie. He greeted all the cast members with a small bow and made his way to where the make up room was located. Well, he hadn't seen that one coming but he was sure that the bitchiness would erupt at some point during their work. After all, he was set to photograph all aspects of this man's life for the next two months, he was sure to see the train wreck that had knocked down that camera man from that one gossip channel for getting in her way. The one that threw their shoes out a window at a hotel when they didn't carry her favorite syrup of all things. Oh, he was sure that this assignment would be the

The Howling: Within Temptation
He had to keep running. His breath was coming in ragged, the thorns in the bushed ripping against the soft material of his shirt and pants. He had lost his left shoe about a mile ago and now his foot impaled itself in the soft flesh. He hissed in pain but didn't slow his steps because he knew that he was still being followed. The back of his collar was pulled back and he was pulled backwards onto his butt. He stayed on the floor looking up in horror at his captor. There wasn't much light in the dense forest but he still saw the tall silhouette of his attacker. The light in the forest reflected itself on his teeth as he smiled.
"Hello Sungmin."
He stood over the quivering Sungmin and---BEEP BEEP BEEP BEEP
Sungmin woke up with a start, his muscle shirt sticking to his sickly skin with sweat. He groaned as he turned off his alarm. 4:30 AM. It seemed that he couldn't even rest when he wasn't working at the precinct. This case of the mysterious serial killer had him on edge. Especially now that it seemed it was him he was after, but Sungmin knew what he

Lose My Breath: Destiny's Child
Kyuhyun's patience was running thin. It seemed that no matter what he did Sungmin didn't get the hint. They had been going out for about six months, and he was ready to take the next step. However, whenever he tried to seduce the older boy something seemed to get in the way. Donghae deciding that he needed to take Sungmin to a new candy store right that moment, Heechul deciding that they needed more pink in their lives, Eunhyuk going into their room because phone reception was better, Hankyung deciding that they needed to practice dancing now.
Then when there were no interruptions Sungmin would never respond. People thought the Sungmin would probably be the one that would initiate these types of things being the sly fox that he is, but it seemed that was a mute point with the boy. Today would be the day, Kyuhyun would make sure of that. He looked through his wardrobe when he got out of the shower, knowing that Sungmin would wake up in about 30 minutes for schedule. He picked out the tightest jeans that he owned, the tight blue shirt with a v-neck showing off his protruding collar bones, and his black converse. The combined outfit made his legs look miles long, his chest seem broad, and oozed sex appeal when combined with his sultry looking-at-you-under-my-eye-lashes gaze.
Needless to say, when Sungmin woke up that morning the first thing he did was go for a nice cold shower. Not only that, but when he got out of the shower and went back into the room Kyuhyun had moved into the next phase of the plan. Sungmin walked in wrapped in his fluffy pink bathrobe and froze in the doorway as his eyes trailed

Anyone Else But You: The Moldy Peaches
He felt that he was the luckiest person when it came to his relationship with Kyuhyun. The members always say that he needs to keep the public displays of affection down a notch, there's only so much you can blame on skin ship. He couldn't help himself.
Not only was Kyuhyun the love of his life, but he was the best friends that he had ever had. There had been other boyfriends, and some girlfriends, sure but he knew that after he got Kyuhyun that he could never look at anyone else like he looked at Kyu. They were polar opposites in some aspects, as in Kyuhyun could live in his computer given a choice and Sungmin would rather be out going to a club or something. Kyuhyun was quiet and mysterious, awkwardly charming, where as Sungmin was charismatic and noticeable, cuteness. But he knew that at the end of the day they would be in their room listening to music and the feeling of completion enveloped them.
He accepted all the faults in his taller counter part, as he was sure that Kyu had done with him. When Kyuhyun had gone to China, it had been the most painful year of his life. He still talked to him every day, but it wasn't the same to be talking into a piece of plastic as it was to be talking into his neck, wrapped in his arms, his scent slowly lulling him to sleep. But when he saw him get off the plane he couldn't remember anything except running to the

Dime Ven: Motel
The plane touched down and he pulled the headphones from his ears. He had been away for three years now, Korea looking much like he had left it from the air. He got off the plane and checked his phone. Sungmin hadn't answered back.
He hated that he had been forced to leave. Hated that his parents couldn't accept him for who he was. Hated that it seemed that Sungmin hated him. Three years ago he had left him, and Sungmin had only called him once. He had his phone turned off in the plane, but when he turned it on in the airport in China, the only thing waiting for him was a voice mail.
Sungmin had called to say that he hated that he just left him there. He hadn't loved him anyway. He only used him for the sex. It caused Kyuhyun to get tears in his eyes, because underneath all the insults was the deep hurt in Sungmin's voice. He had wanted to tell him that it was for their own good, as soon as his time in lock down with his aunt was over his parents had nothing they could say about them. But Sungmin changed his email, never answered his calls, and

For this one I experimented a lot with AU!verse. The last one sucked cause the song's in Spanish so I was translating lyrics in my head while writing the story >,<. Any continuations you want, please don't hesitate to ask :D
Liked them? Think I should seriously just step away from my computer next time? Please, do tell~
