the fear of rejection can only last so long, and then it must end, for she must respond, and chances are it won't be long at all. if it ends in affirmation, then all your problems have been lifted, if you are rejected, that will pass, so the only problem that could then arise is that she doesn't respond, which isn't very likely, besides nothing is ever accomplished via nothing. Although you could just try to put her our of your mind completely, which is also a viable solution, that if successful, all of your problems have been lifted. This may be a good idea, if your chances of rejection are very high, but that's unlikely.

Patrick, sweetie, if you're your sweet, charming self, you have nothing to be worried about. and if this girl rejects you, you can eat Ice cream with Me and Amber, and we'll make you feel better :)

(i'm not saying you will be rejected, because you're just so damn awesome.)

Shniques, quite honestly we have a fuckload more to fear than fear itself. But not much of a fuckload. Anything that can possibly be feared is some bad feeling, in your mind, that could result. So if the shit hits the fan, just ignore it. If it doesn't, and it probably won't, then no worries.
