I hate discovering hypocrisy, especially in myself. I curse the ice on people's sidewalks, yet I fail to shovel my own. I complain about those who exploit their workers, yet I don't give money to the homeless man on Craig St. I encourage my friends to pursue their goals, yet fail to even figure out what mine are. Don't beat yourself up too much, Vijay.

You should note, btw, that the man on Craig Street doesn't work for you, so I wouldn't call it hypocritical at all. I still give 'em money, because despite all of the arguments against it that I've heard, I know damn well that they will enjoy that dollar much more than I would have. Even if they're buying beer with it or whatever.

The ice isn't all that hypocritical, because you're cursing the ice, and not the people who aren't removing it. Curse all ice, it's not hypocritical! :)

Seriously- nobody should beat themselves up over the little things. And they're (almost) all little things.
