So instead of going to the gym today, I explored Schenley Park. I discovered all the awesome hiking trails. Spent 2 hours walking on them today. Lillian - you and I are so hitting them next week hehe. If it doesn't rain. Good times indeed.

My two housemates are out of the house for most of the summer. It's nice to have the place to myself, but kinda lonely...come visit me! All of you!

Work is rather boring today. I have a test in 2.5 hours, but I think I'm fairly ready. Or maybe just lazy hehe. The AIDS Walk is tomorrow - the CMU team has about 20 people signed up - hopefully it will go well.
I miss my DC!

OK so next semester, I was planning on taking Politics through Film w/Dr. Borzutzky (the most amazing prof ever!). However, I looked at the syllabus and realized that most of the material in the class has been covered in my current class, and the seminar I had w/her. Today wasn't too bad - work was slow, and my test went well. At night I was supposed to watch a film in SoHo w/my boys but we ended up talking and then having a 2 hour long 3 way phone conversation with onefish. Times like this make me realize how great my friends are. I love you kiddos!

OK, so today I'm working in SoHo (the GLBT Issues office on campus) and this old guy comes in. He had to be around 80 years old, and him and his wife are in this program at CMU where they have classes for the elderly. His finished early, so he had to wait for her, and he asked if he could sit in our office, since it was outside of her classroom. I ( Read more... )

The folks visited this weekend...things were normal - arguing, anger blah blah. At least they brought my stuff up and all.

Oy last night's party was wild. I had way too much to drink, called/IMed a lot of people. Good times. But I'm a big hungover. Not so good times hehe.

At least I have today to get over it...

1st week of summer classes went seemingly well. My profs are great, and the material is really interesting - I've learned so much about the Cold War and foreign policy. And I still say that America was more responsible for the Cold War than the USSR. Damn Truman hehe!

In other good news, I finally got my wireless card to work. Yay!
