Nope, haven't seen it. [I don't actually watch anything there anyway and hardly listen other than background noise. My girlfriend turned it on. Russians always have some music television on somewhere...and they're listening. Music is serious stuff here.]

We all get very different content and so what is pop in Europe is not usually in America. BUT...we get plenty of American crap...uh, pop...since I look up and notice.

I'm glad you're getting out more. I think it's healthy to have friends that aren't necessarily mutually friends with your girlfriend. Yay networking. -.-

Why do you like Chinese people? That reminds me of the other day actually. We were doing brainstorming on what makes teams effective. I was working with a girl that was born and raised in Taiwan. The first thing she said was 'harmony' and then I thought of all the stereotypes of how people from collectivist countries value getting along and all that... But I dunno, I guess it's easier just to lump people together?

Maybe this sounds like a stupid question but, what exactly is 'management?' Both of my classes are listed under 'management' but I don't really know what it is... Just training to be a manager or to be a supervisor?

Ah! It is insisted that management and leadership are two different qualities. Many businesses now prefer a leader to just a good manager.

A manager would tell you what to do and where to go. A leader would show you and then see that you do it on your own.
