I remember the others saying your name and I was thinking, gosh, that name sounds soooo familiar... But then I never had a chance to approach you. Later in the wee hours of the morning, I asked Vec and she told me. Can't believed I didn't make the connection earlier! LOL Your flight must have taken long! 7hrs? 9hrs?

Yeah, the flight was about 8 hours total -- 6-hour nonstop from Chicago to Anchorage, and then a plane change and on up to Fairbanks. Which, for us, is actually good! It tends to take about 15 hours to get anywhere on the East Coast, and the one time I went to Newfoundland, it was a goddawful 22 hours, with four plane changes. *sobs*

Anyway, yeah -- there were so many people, and there wasn't always time to get everyone's name or LJ handle. We needed name tags. :D

It was great to meet you and hang out with you Saturday night! Loved the pics you posted here. The LA con sounds great - wish I could figure out a way to go to that one, but I think I spent all my money in Chicago! :)
