Gone is the Analog Signal

10:44 PM. I actually stopped my DVD player and switched back to regular TV mode just so I can catch the "DTV Switch".  True to their word, my screen turned to complete snow (as appose to the typical half snow I normally pick up).  As I fished through the very poor signals otherwise known as channels, looks like a little over a half of them turned ( Read more... )

I wish I could switch to an antenna/converter box and ditch my cable (I have the bare bones cable package otherwise I get nothing), but given where I live I'd need to put the antenna on the roof, which is a no-no with the HOA.

Sounds like my sister's situation but she lives in a deep valley. A roof antenna still didn't help her.

Have you tried an indoor TV antenna? That was going to be my next option if the digital switch didn't resolve my waning reception (I'm hooked to the apt complex's roof antenna).
