A/N: lol. It wasn't intended to be a full blown fic =3= actually, I'll just freaking admit that it was a part of the fic that I was writing for mello =3

Allen's blazing eyes turned back to him. "You...," he said at first. He said nothing more because he did not know now to phrase it. Kanda's eyes remained stony and betrayed nothing of what he was feeling at the moment. Lavi was hidden behind the door, listening closely at the door. "You freaking told that bastard where to wait!!!"

Kanda glared back at Allen instead. "It's my business who I tell, beansprout," he said. "If there's nothing I'll ask you to leave."

Allen did not move. "He's here isn't he? Lavi is here right now, correct?" he asked softly but the danger in his voice was uncovered. Without waiting for an answer, he pushed past Kanda and threw a room door open. Lavi who was standing directly behind the door was knocked backwards on his feet. He saw a flash of white as he struggled to get up. Allen's Innocence was fully activated, black claw and cape all ready. Lavi stood up as fast as he could.

"Crown Belt!!"

Long white strips wrapped themselves along Lavi's arm and legs, rendering the redhead immobile. Allen tugged his arm and walked out of the door, pulling Lavi along. Kanda, Mugen at ready charged in but Allen released a Cross Grave, sending Kanda flying back and hitting a wall.

"YU!!!" Lavi cried out in shock but was forced to go along with Allen. He pulled Lavi out to a cemetery, and forced him on his knees in front of a tombstone. On the stone, was carved the name Tup Dopp. Lavi recognized the name as the plump jovial scientist in the Science Division.

Allen was shaking so badly. "Can you make him come back, after all that chaos you and Lulu Bell caused?" Allen said angrily while crying rivers of tears at the same time. "A Skull, Lavi. Your bloody minions turned him into a freaking Skull!! An undead skeleton whose role is to use magic to serve the Earl."

Lavi looked at the tombstone numbly. "I know...," he said softly. "I know... Allen Walker..."

"... Then why..." Allen said, but sobs cut through his throat, rendering him speechless. He shook his head lightly, bringing up his left hand to summon his sword. Raising his sword high, he said, "Ending your pitiful life here, is the only solace I can give you."

Lavi looked up, facing the sword with a blank stare. "If it makes you feel better," Lavi mumbled. "Then kill me."

Allen brought the down down quickly and Lavi braced himself for impact. The pain never came but he heard the fierce clash of metal on metal. Looking up with one green eye, the thin silver of Mugen was stopping the large sword from its descent.

Kanda turned back to look at Lavi. "Get away from here," he ground out as he struggled to keep Allen's sword from meeting him. "Go north. You may just survive there."

Lai gaped wordlessly for a few moments. "I'm not leaving without you," he finally said, his eye matching the determination in his voice.

"Damn, you want to get killed by moyashi here?!" Kanda demanded. "Go quick!! I can only hold him back for a little longer."

Casting a desperate look back, Lavi sprinted away from the scene and into the woods. He ran and ran until he reached a path across the forest. The mountain in front of him loomed in its intimidating presence. He saw a couple of people on a ledge a little above ground level. He recognized the one with black hair as Devit. He set up to climb the cliff as a shortcut to reaching them.
Allen stopped forcing the sword to kiss the ground. He reverted it back to his arm and glared angrily at Kanda. "Why did you do that for?" he demanded.

Kanda sheathed Mugen and looked north. "None of your business moyashi," he said and walked off.

Allen, unable to contain his rage any longer, shouted out to the retreating figure. "YOU CALL YOURSELF AN EXORCIST?!? YOU JUST FUCKING LET A NOAH ESCAPE!!! I DON'T CARE WHAT'S BETWEEN YOU TWO HOMOSEXUAL IDIOTS BUT HE'S A NOAH!!! IT'S OUT JOB AS EXORCISTS TO DESTROY THEM!!!"

Kanda stopped walking. "So you reckon that your so-called logic that Exorcists live to fight the Earl and the Noahs is perfect?" he asked. "While it's true that many people have died at the hands of the Earl's killing machines called Akuma and you can see their bloody souls wailing and crying to you for help, have you ever thought, what makes the Noah and the Earl on the same side?"

Allen stared at Kanda speechlessly. He never thought that the artificial Exorcist could come up with a comeback.

"The Earl does not have any Noah genes as far as the Noah are concerned. But they are on the same side. The Noahs have been brainwashed into thinking that the world now is a corrupt place that needs to be destroyed. They love their Noah sides more than their human sides because of the power the Noahs can give them. They never once thought that they used to be helpless humans before the awaken as a Noah."

He knew that Allen could not retort to that statement. So he left
Devit yawned. It was getting boring. He raised his gun to Jasdero's head. "He's not here," he finally said.

Jasdero cackled. "Of course he's not," he said. Out of the corner of his eye, he saw red. "But it looks like he has found us, heehee!!"
Lavi was waving his arms madly. "OI!!! Devit!! Jasdero!!!" he called as he ran. He stopped to catch his breath. "What're you two doing here?"

Devit seemed bored. "Looking for you," he replied. "Orders from Tyki."

Jasdero cackled. "Heehee!! Now that you're back, let's go. The Earl's looking for you," he said as he and Devit trekked further up the mountain with Lavi following behind.

A/N:: I know I'm awesome. Kudos to those who can spot the similarity with the prequel of Condor Heroes
