Tara, I totally know that some of the people in that group are just joking. I also think that some of them aren't really. And they're the ones I'm directing my ire at, not intelligent, Economics-majoring SK's such as yourself :)

I will admit that I went to UF to find a husband so I could one day be a housewife and I definately could not do it on my looks. College is the place to get a husband because those are where the best men are, if I had not gone to college I would have married a dead end loser. I really do want to drive my kids around and plan out dinners for the family. Althought I would never join a community like that and I do feel that women have the right to make it on their own two feet I would just rather make it on my husband's two feet.

I'm sorry if I hurt your feelings Katrina, and I understand your motives. I do stick by the underlying premise of what I wrote. I've been hearing a lot about this from people, and I think you're in the majority. But, K, if it makes you happy, then I'm happy for you. :)

You didn't hurt my feelings at all....I just believe that many people that do become housewives really are happy with what they do and they could not be happier even if they won the nobel peace prize...
